While we were at Nonny and Poppy's house, Braden said part of his ear was hurting in the evening. After looking at it I assumed it was nothing (other than a mosquito bite or something random) and he went back out to play.
The next morning he came to me as he woke up and said it still hurt. This picture does NOT do it justice. His ear was HUGE compared to his other one. And hot. And red. It looked like it was going to explode.
After giving him Benadryl it got smaller but still remained red and hot so I decided to take him into Urgent Care. We waiting a LONG time (even though we were the only ones there) before the doctor came in and after examining him (and googling it..lol) then determined he had been bit by a poisonous spider and needed an antibiotic. After a couple days he was back to normal but man that was scary!
