kidz praise spring concert

"sign language" to one of her songs

Cailey had her spring Kidz Praise concert this past weekend and did a great job! They sang four songs that they had been working on since Christmas. She was pretty serious and 'in to' "God Will Make a Way"...even closing her eyes! (She was also messing with the new hole in her mouth from her lost tooth:) There were at least 6 or 7 sweet ladies who we didn't know that came up to her and told her she looked like a pro and gushed about how great she did! Apparently they heard her voice even in the back and a couple said she's meant to be on stage:). Only time will tell! Great job my girl!!

Wild Water Day

We've been having a great time with our Marble's Museum membership! We went as a fam last weekend for wild water day and got to see lots of sea animals, play in water-both inside and out, get a green screen picture, go on timed obstacle courses (including hockey, rock climbing, trampoline jumping, bike riding, tunnel crawling, and more!), play in peas and carrots (the highlight!), search for shark teeth, and do all the usual fun stuff:). We had a great day together!
**and for once i left the camera home...on purpose!

the FIRST tooth

january 19th

march 25th

My girl has lost her FIRST tooth! Cailey has been wanting to lose a tooth for a LONG time now and watched all her friends lose many over the past couple years. In January she finally got a loose tooth (which I cried about of course because it's yet another sign that my baby is growing up) on a Sunday morning before church. I thought for SURE it would be gone after she came home from church...well...this little tooth hung on until it finally came out yesterday! It's been super loose for a while but she didn't want anyone to pull it (I don't blame her!). Last night when we were coming home from the Y she said, "mommy, my tooth just fell out!" Her tooth was SO ready to come out that it literally just fell out. She already has her permanent tooth poking through so I'm guessing the hole will be filled soon. This was the first tooth she got when she was 11 1/2 months old...and now the one beside it (the 2nd tooth she got at 12 months) is wiggly.

two wheeler!

already trying to do tricks!

Cailey learned how to ride her bike without training wheels the same day we got Macy!! Cailey was SUCH a trooper and practiced with me for 2 1/2 hours. There was a ton of falling down, boo boos, tears, and prayers but she didn't give up and I'm SO proud of her. The next day we practiced again and it went much better...then the next day she was riding like a pro! This week she learned how to 'start' herself on her bike and is trying to learn tricks already:)! Way to go sweet girl!

Go Heels!

Brian went to the NCAA Tournament in Greensboro this past Thursday and Saturday with Dad (for two games) and Brandon (for four games) thanks to one of his faithful blog readers. He was super excited to be there this year and had a great time in his great seats! Brian and Brandon went to Golden Corral before the games on Saturday and he said it was the 'perfect day' for him:). He was also able to meet some of his other blog readers. Best of all, Carolina won!!!

Cheer pics

TEAM PICTURE

VERY SWEET COACHES...WE LOVED THEM!

POSING!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!

Cheerleading season is over and she had a great time! I'm pretty sure she'll want to play basketball next year instead of cheerleading, but only time will tell:)! She REALLY wanted to play soccer again this spring but it would have overlapped with cheerleading and the many spring weekend plans we have. So for now sports are over (except for swimming lessons:)!
