Historic Yates Mill County Park

just the girls

austin was our BRAVE leader:)...meanwhile Janet and I were
terrified of seeing copperheads that people were talking about

throwing rocks again:)

this sweet girl had a TON of falls, including
a VERY SCARY one far in between some
big boulders. she was fine and just a little muddy:)
i'm SO thankful she didn't fall in the water!

we thought it was funny that they actually lined up to wait
their turn:)

buds

watching and catching hundreds of tiny grasshopper looking bugs

flower girl

we loved the rocking chairs and beautiful backdrop

they had 'period' hats for the kids to try on

how cute is HE??

terrorizing......i mean chasing geese

austin was kinsey's buddy...so sweet! she LOVES him!

we had a GREAT time!!

Yesterday we spent a ton of time outside in the beautiful weather. We went exploring, hiking, saw a mill, waterfalls, turtles, strange hopping bugs, frogs, and a ton more!

all this after spending the morning at another park playing and having a picnic with friends!

You were only 5-10 minutes from our house. Call us next time.

It could not have been a nicer day to go! After all that excitement - we sure slept well last night! :) And thank the Lord we didn't see any snakes. I think our singing kept them away! :)
