I'm happy to say that Cailey had a fabulous time at Nonny and Poppy's house! She was VERY excited to be home too:) (This video was taken right after she walked in the door.)

little lu, pookie, kinsey...one in the same. Tonight my mom and I were able to spend time with JUST her. Being a third child she hasn't had many 'dates' with us all by herself so it was very special to be able to take her out. We started out at a FABULOUS Italian restaurant (Casa Linga), went to the grocery store (I know, not that exciting...but she got a cookie) and went to get a movie. She brought "hop" (her bunny) and got a new My Little Pony from mom...yes...new...all for HER! She is so fun to hang out with and tries to talk a LOT more...I can't wait to take her out again:)!!!

I LOVE this shirt...my friend, Adele, bought it for Cailey in Thailand and brought it right after Cailey was born.

puzzled

Cailey has never really been interested in doing puzzles, but before she left for Nonny and Poppy's house she did all five of these on her own! Some are easier than others, but I was VERY impressed...this is BIG news for Cailey:)! She is my social girl who loves to only play with her siblings or mommy and daddy...but NOT by herself, so I was proud of her for spending all this time on doing the puzzles while we packed! I honestly think that if she had a bigger table then she would have done even more:)!!

a Korean thing??

It seems like Braden isn't the only one who likes to sleep on the floor...in the hall! I know Cailey never did this, so I'm starting to wonder if it's a Korean thing:)! We found Kinsey in the hall like this tonight. Maybe she's missing Cailey...either way isn't she just the cutest thing:)??

Oh..and about the shirt--it used to be Cailey's. (My dad is Irish, my mom is Italian.)

spinning, castles, and pirate ships...

Sunday night we (Brian, Poppy, Cailey, Braden, and I) set out to go watch some fireworks and listen to a band. After driving there we discovered there were SO many people that it was closed off to everyone else. Poor Braden was SO bummed! He REALLY was excited about the fireworks! My dad decided to take us to another town where they had a street festival...the kids enjoyed it SO much better than they would have sitting around waiting for fireworks! They were able to ride lots of spinning rides and got really dizzy! By the end Braden had enough and Cailey just went on by herself. She will definitely be my roller coaster buddy...she even held both of her hands in the air! Afterwards we took them to a doughnut/ice cream shop where they both chose HOT FRESH doughnuts!

Yesterday we took the kids to a playground with "castles, pirate ships, musical instruments and zoo animals." The kiddos have been there before and had a fabulous time climbing, sliding, swinging, going on the see-saw with Brian and I, checking out the 'animals', and playing the instruments!! After lunch we headed back HOME and left Cailey at Nonny and Poppy's house for the week:)!

memorial day at nonny and poppy's

This weekend we went to Nonny and Poppy's to hang out and drop Cailey off. She gets to hang out with them ALL week while she's tracked out:)!! We went to a park, ran around the favorite 'circle' in the cul de sac, sat in trees, helped plant flowers with Nonny, walked around the lake and helped walk the dogs with Poppy, had a cookout, and then went out to a festival at night...all in one day! (Festival pics to come:)

3 babies and a party

Yesterday we went to a first birthday party for three babies in our Sunday school class. The kids were able to play at the playground for a little while before consuming the cupcakes! Happy First Birthday Babies!!

The kiddos and I were hangin' out in the backyard yesterday just being silly:)!! We looked for roly poly's (pill bugs), 'made' blueberry pies with dirt and leaves, and went on a ball hunt. I am SO thankful that I can spend my days home with the kiddos watching them learn and grow!

end of year picnic!

Yesterday we went to the park to celebrate the end of preschool. Technically we have another week, but the picnic was fun! The kiddos played, climbed, swung, slid, ate, and had a blast with friends. Since Cailey is still tracked out she was able to come with us and play too:)!!
