Impromptu fire safety lesson
After we did school. went to the library to get books, and to teacher store to get things laminated, we decided to meet a friend at Chick fil A for lunch. When we got out of the car a fire truck pulled up and three firefighters got out. Braden was BEYOND excited as he LOVES firetrucks (and takes EVERY opportunity to point them out whenever he sees one). The girls were pretty excited too and the firefighters were so nice to introduce themselves to the kids and asked if they wanted a tour of the truck. They spent a good twenty minutes letting the kids up on the truck and explaining each button the kids asked about. (This is the first time they weren't rushed off because of other kids wanting a turn...the private tour was so cool:) The kids had a great time and couldn't stop talking about the firetruck at CFA all day! Oh...and Cailey thought it was SO FUNNY that firefighters go to CFA to eat lunch.

Wow...that is so awesome! Everything happens at CFA! Love it!
That is an awesome experience for your kids! I am glad that they were able to take their time and learn lots of things about fire trucks! How neat for them!
