Easter Outreach

Yesterday we helped our Sunday class and a few others put on an Easter Egg hunt as an outreach project. The kids had a blast helping us hide eggs...Kinsey thought that you were supposed to THROW the eggs...which of course made them open up and all the candy fall out:), so a lot of the time was spent putting them back together and teaching her to PUT the eggs down instead. It took the kids about 15 minutes to hide the eggs and when everyone came out it only took about 15 seconds for ALL the eggs to be gone. Afterwards Chick Fil A provided lunch and there were balloons and goodie bags given out:). When I was explaining the event to Cailey and Braden in the morning Cailey said, "We get to be like missionaries!!" Her thinking amazes me! I wouldn't have thought to phrase it that way, but she's right:).

Thanks for your comment on our blog, Heather. I did not realize that you had gone through so much of the stuff we are thinking of/wondering if we'll have to do. Maybe we can email about some of the issues with those things...esp. IVF. I'd love your thoughts on it. lsiseley@bellsouth.net

Thanks and love, Sarah
