DC

We spent our spring break at Nonny and Poppy's house this year. On DAY ONE we went to DC to tour some museums.

in front of the natural history museum

The museum had a ton of information about the Egyptians and Ancient Times which was perfect because that's what we studied in History this year! In this picture they were learning more about Nomads.

We've learned all about mummies (and saw another video on them at the museum) so they were excited to be able to see a REAL mummy! They also saw a bull that had been mummified.

It was a COLD and WINDY day but the kids did great.

picnic lunch on the mall...even the birds and ducks
were fed:).

the kids did a TON of walking (we're talking MILES)
and we were so proud of them! they took turns in the stroller and
by the end we were wondering if we should have brought the double.

Brian and I have gotten pictures taken at this tree every time
we've been to DC...since 14 years ago!

tuckered from a LONG day! Oh...and this was when
Kinsey LEFT her coat on the Metro:(. Fortunately it wasn't
too cold the rest of the time we were there.

I couldn't believe their energy, but when we got home
the girls spent the rest of the day running around chasing the
dogs!
