Camp Winshape

This year we decided to stay home for the 4th of July so the kids could go to Camp Winshape because we've heard such GREAT things about it. The three oldest went from 7:45 in the morning until 5:00.  They had so much fun and all want to go back again next year!  It's a camp put on by Chick Fil A out of Georgia and the kids were able to do so many fun things.

Cailey chose soccer, drama, and secret service.
Braden chose wacky science, archery, and digital photography.
Kinsey chose gymnastics, basketball, and dance.

On the last day (Friday) parents get to go to camp with the kids and CFA provides lunch for everyone. They went ALL out..there were sandwiches, chips, cookies, fruit, slaw, drinks, and salad!  The kiddos ate a FULL lunch!
Their theme was the heart and how it's like a castle and you can open the doors and let sin in or you can keep sin out. Everyday they heard a new message and came home excited to share what they learned. They also memorized bible verses daily.
Here they are sitting with one of their staff.  We were able to talk to him for a long time and learned more about camp winshape. Cailey would like to go to THE camp in Georgia overnight for two weeks but we've decided to have her wait one more year so she can go to the Community Winshape camp again next year....she was excited about that!
