so sad...

Our neighbors planted some sunflowers in between our houses and the kiddos have loved watching them grow so tall! Once they were completely grown they started folding over because the flower was so heavy....the kids had another thought. Braden said, "Mommy, why is the flower sad?" Cailey said, "because it is thirsty and wants some water." Then she said, "the rain is it's tears and it's bowing down to pray when it's not raining." I treasure moments like this and the cute things that they say!

That is so cute! And you know what's crazy? Rebecca happened to see the pics while I was looking at it and she said "that sunflower looks rather sad!" Too funny!

Its amazing the things they think of. I can't wait until Wesley starts saying things like that. Right now, all I hear about it "cahs" and "tuhs" (trucks)! Cute.

I love the thought that the sunflower is praying to God for rain. If only more people were so in tuned with their faith as children. :)
